There are a surprising number of older folks who I (used to) see who were regulars at Dunkin or McDonalds who would just go hang out with their friends every morning over coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Typically a place within walking distance of their apartments.

I was freaked out seeing a lot of people ignoring or flouting social distancing/basic PPE requirements in the grocery store this past weekend, but I think a lot of them are older, on fixed income, and have lost that vital social connection. Still feeling very conflicted about it.

yea, and families with kids and not a lot of income often go in and use the play areas for cheap kiddo entertainment too
