I'm seeing Crusher as Eurydice even though she's too old for the part because putting on the show was her idea (she's the one who's into theatre canonically) and she insisted She's the equivalent of Anais Mitchell playing Eurydice herself in the concept album

(Guinan and Picard as Persephone and Hades is extremely on the nose but hey on the nose is fine sometimes)

I'm kind of thinking of Geordi narrating the show as a more subdued version of Hermes who starts off reading the tale from an old book but that may be crossing too many streams

I hear you saying two things 1) "Patrick Stewart is a great actor but he's not known for musical theatre", and 2) "Hadestown is so rooted in American culture, isn't he way too British for the part" I hear you and respond with thishttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cK9dlmYvB-Y …

(Man actually casting Patrick Stewart and Sunny Ozell as Hades and Eurydice would be hilariously awkward)

You just made my night. Brilliant idea and I can’t stop smiling at the thought of it. I haven’t gotten past the first song yet because I like it so much that I keep replaying it.

You can literally imagine Jonathan Frakes opening the show up with that solo can't you
