It's wild isn't it Like that story in and of itself is a whole movie, and probably a much more interesting moviehttps://twitter.com/BootlegGirl/status/1254712187320500226 …

I want a full movie about the guy with the dead husband coping with how he clicked with the guy he went on a date with, but now his husband is no longer dead, and he has to decide between polyamory or becoming a supervillain https://twitter.com/EricaFails/status/1254563553345974272 …

It's really something, the feeling settling in watching Spider-Man Far From Home and going "Wait they're really just gonna try to roll with this Treat the 'post-Blip' world like it's still a viable setting for normal adventures in a world that looks like ours"

I don't even know how that script survived the first round of edits. Like the scene where MJ tells on the dude for underage drinking on a plane to Europe

as a private citizen who manages records professionally that would be a nightmare to handle administratively

Yeah, I mean I'm sure it would Which is why I suspect they'd just abolish the drinking age, on the grounds that "you were dead and are now alive, must be tough, you can have booze"

Well it would affect way more than that, it would affect the actual age of majority and the age of consent

Right I mean honestly I feel like they would have to say "everyone needs to renew their vital docs if they were issued before the blip, and we will run records checks for a death certificate so be honest when we ask you if you were disintegrated by the purple dude"

In this case it's the Returned pretending to be Survivors (to pass as older than they are) that would be the issue, so they'd probably just err on the side of assuming people who didn't check in after the Snap were dead

That was the thing with the divorced teacher, right, his wife just pretended to be dead to get out of their marriage and after he found out about it because she didn't reappear in their apartment they were still divorced
