Also, it's a pun, because, the Matrix itself reloads computer code

Okay seriously though the Architect directly tells Neo he has to "reload" the whole Matrix

Now that I think about it, having a title that seems like a generic stock title but only makes sense after you've seen the movie is a really awful idea

Yeah like the bad decision to rebrand All Your Need Is Kill as Edge of Tomorrow Edge of Tomorrow is especially bad because even after you've seen the movie it only makes sense if you think about it (it's the very edge of the next day that he never gets to see before he dies)

Live Die Repeat is the best one. It tells you what you need to know going in to the move. All You Need Is Kill sounds like a slasher horror film

All You Need Is Kill sounds like an edgy parody of a Beatles song

Wasn't it, though? Like the idea being that he needed both love (from the commando lady) and to kill the aliens?

His love for her is actually the obstacle, and he needs to overcome it and (spoiler alert) kill her too

That's the ending of the original light novel, Rita is keeping him anchored in the loop the same way the boss alien is, the only way to end the loop is for only one of the conscious beings trapped in it (Keiji, Rita, and the hivemind) to kill all the others Hence the title

It's not a great ending and it's for the best the movie dropped it
