The Rise of Skywalker is probably the most generic title they could have chosen, up there with The Matrix Reloaded and Batman Returns

True, but the title tells me nothing about the actual movie

Also, it's a pun, because, the Matrix itself reloads computer code

Okay seriously though the Architect directly tells Neo he has to "reload" the whole Matrix

Now that I think about it, having a title that seems like a generic stock title but only makes sense after you've seen the movie is a really awful idea

Yeah like the bad decision to rebrand All Your Need Is Kill as Edge of Tomorrow Edge of Tomorrow is especially bad because even after you've seen the movie it only makes sense if you think about it (it's the very edge of the next day that he never gets to see before he dies)

Live Die Repeat is the best one. It tells you what you need to know going in to the move. All You Need Is Kill sounds like a slasher horror film

It's one of those titles of a Japanese property that gets its charm from the author's obviously weak grasp of English
