Yeah that's what Half-Orcs are in Tolkien (they're not literally "half", they're humans suspected to have Orcish blood because of their Asian-ish appearance)

Even Tolkien himself expressed regret that he made an inherently evil race of people, so it's especially foolish to deny it. It's not to his credit that he didn't ever make "trying at least a little to make orcs less racist" a priority when writing The Silmarillion, but still.

I keep saying that making the Orcs bird-people (or animal-people) was an out that that filmmaker guy gave him to make it come off as less oof Like that was an out he was trying to give himself, saying Orcs were engineered by Morgoth from animals
