I mean, even then, Team Trump has shown a shockingly high degree of turnover, I think possibly the most for any US President, or at least the most since the legendary corruption of the Gilded Age And yet he still hasn't hit the bottom of the spineless coward recruiting pool

Well, technically, Section 4 of the 25th Amendment provides another out, Congress can specifically create a body with the authority to investigate the President for unfitness if the VP and Cabinet won't do it But Mitch McConnell would have to let them pass it in the Senate

The VP would also have to sign off on it if they went the special congressional body route. There's no way to invoke the 25th without the VP's assent.
