The existence of a female division in sports is discrimination against males. I don't hear you arguing in favor of a single unisex competition however. In stead, it's people like you who claim males should be allowed to compete in the female division if they claim to be a woman.

Actually, I think the gender divisions in sports are bullshit and should be abolished. It's part of the toxic masculinity in sports where people competing have to hurt each other as much as possible, and then women are assumed to be too "weak" to compete.

We end up getting football players who have horrific brain injuries and hockey players who are encouraged to fight every game, and that's messed up on so many levels.

Sometimes when women are allowed to compete with men, they end up winning, so we can't have that, better create gendered divisions in sports.

Men who don't produce enough testosterone are excluded for not being "manly" enough and women who produce too much testosterone are excluded for being TOO manly. The whole thing is silly.

Caster Semenya, for example, but you don’t need an example, you can just look to the olympic rules: a (cis!) woman who by genetic luck produces way more testosterone than normal isn’t allowed to compete as a woman. It’s right there in black and white.

Why are you including an intersex male athlete in this discussion? Caster is not female, by biological definition.

Caster is intersex male, with 5-ARD DSD. Please stop using intersex athletes to defend your position on transwomen competing in the female division.

What are you talking about? She’s a cis woman who may or may not (neither of us is her doctor) have an atypical genetic condition—just like many (perhaps even most) olympic level track and field athletes. We’ve reached the Miss Swan portion of the program I see.pic.twitter.com/iHGR2Jq6QG
