I was diagnosed with Crohn’s at 13 so a lot of awful medical procedures (like colonoscopies and rectal exams) were part of my life long before any of my peers would have one. But them not WANTING an unnecessary and invasive medical exam wouldn’t be shaming me for needing them.

Somehow I'm the monster if I refuse legally mandated cancer treatment when I'm completely healthy. I don't understand how anyone can think that's a good argument.

What a bizarre argument. People not wanting pelvic exams so they can play high school soccer doesn’t shame others for needing them - it’s just a logical desire to not have an unnecessary and painful medical exam AND have your privacy violated just to play a sport.
