Are things unClaire again? What is this unhealthy fascination people have with Claires? Can't they argue based on arguments in stead of accusing people of being Claire? Ad hominem attack if ever I saw one...

I know. They can’t engage with the substance of the debate. Wanting to talk to a Claire just brings the claires.

Touching people when they don’t want to be touched is bad. This isnt a hard concept. Making sock puppets because you got horny/hateful/banned on main is just pathetic.

What ARE you talking about? I've seen the Idaho law, and there's nothing in there requiring that. What the law requires is little more than a pretty standard physical exam in case of a dispute, which can also be settled by already available information about someone's sex.

Yeah a "pretty standard physical exam" for no medical reason, mandated if you refuse to allow people to pry into details of your medical history they have no right to

This is just like the right-wing defense of the mandatory transvaginal ultrasounds for abortions "It's a standard gyno procedure to diagnose certain conditions" Yeah and when it's not actually medically necessary it's a gratuitous bodily violation

Are you advocating that all well-child check-ups be categorized as unnecessary medical exams (which means they’ll cost a great deal more) - would you advise skipping the vaccinations children receive at these check-ups too ?

I am advocating that the details of such checkups be kept private, as the purpose of such checkups are only for the welfare of the patient, which is the current status quo under the law I am saying that abrogating this protection is extremely dangerous

But I'm sure the UK tabloid hounds going "Caster's doctors MUST know if she has testes, WHY haven't they leaked it yet" were just concerned for her health

The only reason Caster's information is out in the open is because SHE decided she didn't want to adhere to the IAAF rules for intersex males competing in the female division, and because SHE filed a CAS case against the IAAF, and lost.
