The effect really isn't strong enough to impede transmission to a significant degree though. People still need to practice social distancing outdoors.
This is why we gotta be careful with scientific communication and reporting. "The virus doesn't last as long in heat and sunlight" can easily be misinterpreted as "you can't catch it when you're outside" which leads to dangerous behavior.
