      Hyperinflation has very little to do with the situation we're in (it's basically always the result of a government being forced at gunpoint to pay off a debt to an external creditor), but I guess that's a little too complicated for middle school

      Lol no you don't understand this topic at all The exact same "middle school economics" that says "forced" full employment causes inflation and is therefore bad also says deflation must cause unemployment Look it up, or just think about it

          Here's some textbook economics: deflation creates disincentive to investment, because any investment must be worth more than simply leaving your money under a mattress The result is less capital flowing into business, which means less employment Inflation does the opposite.
