Well, it would mean that the government would have control of businesses like United Airlines and force them to spend the "bailout" money on paying employees rather than investors

There are, of course, many employees that aren't working right now, but the investors were never working at all, so it's just a question of which set of people you want to give money to for not working (and how large the set is)
