A building where every floor is the same size is HARDER to build than a pyramid that shrinks as it goes up (You could turn this into a metaphor about hierarchical societies but I don't have the energy)

Everyone else learned this stuff about ancient Egypt in grade school, right? The evolution of pyramids? They started as "step pyramids" with like three big layers, and then they turned into actual pyramids as the layers got smaller and they made more and more of them
