So what? The entire point of political parties is for people to come together to advance a political agenda. There is nothing the least bit wrong with candidates dropping when they themselves have no chance in order to help their preferred next option.

Everyone knew the polls said it was over for Pete if he didn't gain momentum somehow by doing better than expected in SC, and the Bernie fans were the ones calling him a dead-end campaign who should drop out until they belatedly realized this was good for Biden
