I wasn't the only one though. It got 2 seasons. But there was a plot like what your original tweet suggested, so you're right up there in thinking like the show's creators.

Yeah the plot twist is she's an advanced T-1000 but her faction of T-1000s are rebels against Skynet and kinda sorta good guys (It's not really realistic that a normal human from the future would be able to come back and blend in well enough to become a CEO)

Terminator Genisys did the same thing but in reverse, the founder of the Genisys corporation is future John Connor, but he's been converted into a super advanced T-1000 (a "T-3000") in order to ensure Skynet's creation
