"Sanders has pushed the Dems to the left on policy and ideology" Yeah sure. That's why they bent over backwards to ensure the single most conservative Democratic presidential nominee in decades, the one who, out of all candidates running, most closely resembled the incumbent

Well, I guess that was technically decades ago

I mean, in terms of policy the Democratic platform objectively does move leftward election after election, it's hard to think of a counterexample - maybe Obama '12 toning it down after the exuberance of Obama '08

I mean, the issue is (ironically) the same as with the dirtbag left: Biden may claim to be for everything good and against everything bad but his record (even before the accusation) doesn't exactly inspire trust in his commitment to those values.

I don't see an argument that Joe Biden has ever been contemporaneously to the left of Bill Clinton On top of that I don't see an argument that Joe Biden wasn't more contemporaneously conservative than Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, Kerry or Obama Even his modern policies aren't far

Joe Biden is ABSOLUTELY a more conservative candidate than Hillary Clinton was so on that basis alone we have inarguably "moved to the right" at least that much even before you factor in Biden's slavering enthusiasm to cooperate with the most fascist opposition party ever
