    It's really annoying how people talk like "predicting" something like this pandemic would eventually happen makes you a prophet If nothing else, IT'S ALREADY HAPPENED BEFORE, and there was never any reason the 1918 flu couldn't happen again

        also, as I’ve only learned in the last few weeks, apparently people whose job it is to understand epidemics and virology and stuff have been saying this sort of thing was just around the corner for years now.
