I’m seeing lunatics insisting that the DNC is behind the Wisconsin elections being held on Tuesday, when (a) the DNC doesn’t run them, the state does, and (b) the Dem governor tried to postpone but the GOP legislature won’t allow it. Still, they’re _sure_ it’s the DNC...

And it’s come up before, too, over other issues, and the DNC has always resolved it before the convention. But, well, better to attack Democrats for _something_ than fight the GOP.

So the idea here is that when the Democrats advocate something that requires people to choose between their health and their vote, we shouldn't just sort of hold our noses. I don't see why it has to be either or. It's perfectly possible - and necessary - to fight both.

So it is true, but the issue is more that they're maintaining a policy that is unconscionable in the current circumstances rather than having just recently introduced it.
