I really don't think defending Joe Rogan is the way to go.

(Now do Henry Kissinger. And Strom Thurmond.) I don't care about Rogan. But the most popular podcaster in America, who actually shows some political independence, backing Trump instead of the Dem is decidedly not a good sign.

it's not an anything sign. Rogan's audience is miniscule compared to the electorate; most people don't know who he is. look at polls, rather than picking stuff to confirm your priors.

Do endorsements matter or no?

they can matter in various ways. Clyburn's did. Rogan's less so. Figuring out whose endorsement actually matters is an important part of running for president. Like, "if Rogan doesn't matter no one does" is clearly silly.

Talks about “picking up stuff to confirm your priors.” Just did a quick name search of you and the word “endorsement.” You seem to think a lottaaa endorsements matter and I’m not sure you’re very good at figuring it out yourself

Rogan didn't even actually give an endorsement, he just said he'd "probably" vote for Bernie on his show Making a big deal out of that was, if nothing else, deeply embarrassingly thirsty on the campaign's part
