Making a pun vs. wanting people you don't like to physically suffer. Yes, totally comparable.
I see, Kung Flu Man is a better person than Bob because he's not "making light of" the virus itself but of making Asian people the scapegoat for it once it's over and we're looking for someone to punish Thanks Kung Flu Man
I like how you just say Kung Fu Man is being racist for a somewhat grim joke and don’t even bother trying to defend Bob wanting people to get infected by a deadly disease. Also the fact that he’s a pharmacist doing his job and neither you nor Bob are doing shit.
But just so you can’t claim I’m moving the goalposts, yes, making a pun that could tenuously be connected to being racist when he’s said no such thing is not as bad as outright saying you want people to get a potentially lethal disease.
I'm not sure what stance you're trying to take but if you're aiming for "I don't have a dog in this fight" you should probably take the racist 'joke' name more seriously
My point is that name is a grim joke that doesn’t aim to hurt anybody, especially since KFM is at the front lines of helping people infected. And still ignoring how Bob is wishing people he doesn’t like would get it because “I may be a sociopath but at least I’m not edgy”
"doesn't aim to hurt anybody" is something we disagree about. we probably also disagree that "aim to" is the important part.

Here’s him outright saying it. Also, so what if someone takes it like that? That’s their interpretation of something he never implied. https://twitter.com/kungfuman316/status/1245845880554639363?s=21 … https://t.co/HD1Mwuq49m

I'm on the same Internet you are and I know how "kung flu" started as a meme so maybe you can stop pissing on my leg and telling me it's raining
