Asian Americans are not responsible — in any way — for anti-Asian hate crimes against our community. We have not invited or incited violence against our bodies. We have nothing to apologize for.http://reappropriate.co/2020/04/andrew-yang-is-wrong-respectability-politics-wont-save-asian-americans-from-racist-violence/#more-28881 …

What Yang said has nothing to do with “ingratiating whiteness”. Whether you agree with
@AndrewYang or not, he was just asking asian-Americans to love and serve their country. That you brought up “whiteness” shows your real concern is about asians acting “white”.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
I am not concerned with Asians "acting white", because one of the things white people DON'T do is start telling all the other white people to wear red white and blue and perform patriotism so they won't be driven out of the country

Replying to @arthur_affect @MMattKahn and
You all phrase it exactly the wrong way I'm not against bootlicking humility and self-abnegation because I think that's "acting white" Because white people don't do that shit

I am entirely in favor of Asians "acting white" in the narrow sense that white people in this country know they have rights and don't live in fear of being kicked out for being uppity
