So the logic is that if everyone is poor then the cishet creators also being poor makes it easier for LGBTQ creators to compete? And that's a net benefit against the backdrop of overall poverty?

The "gatekeeping" is a gate against being able to make a living as an artist and that gate is being kept a lot harder "Liberating" existing content does nothing to liberate the money associated with making and selling it, it does the opposite
