The choice of song and intent is definitely a big difference. Singing one of your hits, for fun and entertainment, is fundamentally different than singing a song (that was always kind of hypocritical) about changing the world while you sit in your mansion, changing nothing.

I mean, there's also something to be said for the difference in an original group covering a non-inspirational song for pure entertainment. The intentions and setups of the videos have some critical differences. :/ This actually being good does help for sure tho
