People don't generally steal from those guys, because they're extremely powerful companies who make it very hard to steal from them without getting caught Everyone steals the actual content, because those owners are much weaker and it's WAY easier to get away with

What we're actually seeing is enormous, extremely rich and powerful companies making huge amounts of cash and gaining obscene power over people's lives by being middlemen As middlemen, they gain more power the closer the price of the "content" they mediate drops to zero
