Oh come on "cancel culture" is just the phrase people use nowadays to mean "You're having your feelings too hard for my comfort" The irony of this whole thing is people acting like Dirtbag Left anti-PC backlash shit isn't its own hypersensitivity to criticism

honestly these days i can't tell the difference between "cancel culture," "wokelord," and "social justice warrior" they're all just reactionary insults directed at people who have the audacity to care about sexism, racism, misogyny

I've come to accept that the word "woke" is now fully a term white people stole from Black people and turned into a slur for things they find annoying but I still don't have to like it

I was around, I saw how people were using the word, it went directly from Black slang on Twitter to shitty white people using it as the new, funnier (because subtly racist) replacement for "PC" or "SJW"

By the original meaning of the term actively calling yourself "woke" would indeed make you absurdly full of yourself, which is why no one actually did that Calling a person "woke" to mock them is a sneering twist on admonitions like "stay woke" or "get woke"
