I kind of like his sleaziness honestly

Imma be real honest: I hate the villains AND the synths in this with a fury, like if I had my way the Kelvans would just roll in and obliterate both civilizations from the record books, let the dominion crush them under jem'hadar boot heel so we never have to speak of them again

I'm not a big fan of the synth encampment people, but I like Soji The Romulans are... fine? They're just written like "hard koar warrior people" in Trek always are

I feel like if anything these episodes have cemented why the Romulans get so little screen time, also yeah the Synths are every shitty inheritor utopia that I hate, also also kinda weird that they CURED DEATH at the end of this season & that's not a bigger deal

I think that "golem" could only be made once, from what they had of Data, and they were going to use it to resurrect Data but they used it for Picard instead. It won't work for just anyone

I did not get that at all, like that's probably gonna be the HANDWAVE but if it was explained it was "blink & you'll miss it" stuff, but also I'm fine not coming back to Synth Land

Man Dr. Soong sure invented a bunch of unique irreproducible shit huh Hey is that why he was too busy to ever even mention he had a biological kid

What is with all these characters having sons who suddenly appear from nowhere with no explanation
2 replies 1 retweet 3 likes -
His wife never mentioned they had a son, in fact in that episode she explicitly said Data and Lore WERE their children, which is pretty harsh on their actual kid

as I recall his wife turned out to ALSO be a Synth infiltrator like robo-girl

His wife was a real human who died and then he scanned her brain to make a golem copy Like I'll be fair to PICARD on that, they got the idea directly from that TNG episode

oh I was FINE with the golem idea & the infiltrators seemingly borrowing from that episode, Barclay was able to upload his mind to the enterprise computer too, hella do-able
