I really doubt that, and, again, in Ohio where the governor did try to make this decision it turned into a constitutional crisis - there's immense pressure not to be seen to be messing with elections

In the case of OH/IL/FL it was a decision they literally had a few days to make, and delaying the date of the election is a much bigger intervention than approving more mail-in ballots
