It's funny that in 2003 this was a kind of quirky cultural moment in China that seemed so surreal to the rest of the world And now we have SARS 2: WORLD TOUR and it's not funny anymore

(It literally is SARS 2, the virus is a mutation of the SARS virus and it was named SARS-CoV-2 They chose not to put SARS in the official name of the disease, COVID-19, because the disease has very different characteristics from SARS and the name could lead to misconceptions)
