Apparently you can't win the election and build the movement at the same time, if you're excusing the huge missteps the campaign made in the name of movement building
Part of the point here is that the right choice shouldn't necessarily be a name you or I would be familiar with Being "Twitter famous" is really not important at all for this kind of work and the campaign was heavily biased toward online people

I agree that "Twitter fame" doesn't matter (much). But I don't think Bernie's campaign is biased toward that. They do more old-fashioned physical door-knocking than any other campaign. They just don't have the same access to traditional mass media as the DNC establishment.
