There is definitely no “fair” or “unfair” about it. You’re lucky, or you’re not, and there’s nothing you can do that controls that. Day to day, minute by minute. So yeah, we have to learn is taking care of ourselves and our feelings because no one else or nothing else really will

I am Brazilian, so I didn't grow up with that show. My American gf showed it to me a few months ago and I'm ashamed to say I ended up crying. It's so incredibly soothing, and not in a sugary, artificial way. He looks like a man who has little but loves and shares it.
