The DNC doesn't hold primaries, state governments hold primaries The fight over whether to delay the Ohio primary or not was entirely between the (Republican) governor's office and the state courts, the DNC had nothing to do with it

Jesus Christ I'm so sick of this shit You'd think people who are so "passionate" about the process would learn literally the very first thing about how the process works

I mean, while I agree this process is *obtuse*. Most people don't have the time to learn how it all works. This statement is more a condemnation of how complicated our election process is than anything else.

How is something people learn in grade school complicated?

Since when was the primary system taught in grade schools? A lot of people don't even know the DNC is a private organization, and doesn't actually need to do a primary if they don't want to.

I try not to get mad about people not knowing things unless THEY get mad over it and start calling for an angry mob based on falsehoods Then I start asking questions like "Okay if the DNC runs the primary then why does the primary ballot also let you vote for judges and shit"

"Did you actually read your ballot? Does the DNC temporarily take over counting votes for the city council and stuff during primary season? What about open primary states where the Democratic and Republican primaries literally use the same ballot" At some point it's common sense
