The Thanos logic of one quick atrocity that causes temporary pain for permanent benefits - ripping the bandaid off - *doesn't make sense* To make the population smaller you have to *permanently* increase the death rate or decrease the birth rate, with whatever suffering follows

Thanos' plan is so stupid. I feel like the last two avenger movies are going down the avatar road. Fun to look at at the time but we'll realize how boring and nonsensical they are in a few years.
