If you don't think you should have to treat people well to have their commitment it kind of indicates that what you actually want is the power to treat people the way you want, and the cause is just an excuse (why isn't the cause important enough for YOU to change)

Went both ways, it sounds like. If you think Sanders is the best option, I'm not sure that disagreeing on how to handle ICE is a reason to stop campaigning.

Embracing the halfhearted and conditional endorsement of a noted bigot in ways that convince marginalized people that you'll throw them under the bus to win isn't just a tactical disagreement though.
