I do think that experience does generally lead to wisdom. But young people do tend to have a more open mind, and a more critical attitude towards mass/establishment media. That leads to a difference in the effectiveness of Biden campaign vs the Sanders campaign.

Another take: there are cynical and naive people. The cynical ones just don't make the effort to participate in the elections. If you're young and naive, you vote Sanders because you want change. If you're old and naive, you vote Biden because you do what they tell you.
