My point isn’t about blood donation centers- it’s about how the healthcare system is set up, that people are looking for “loopholes” to keep themselves safe. And if that means to “expose” others, why is that so selfish when THE SYSTEM IS PROFITING OFF AN EPIDEMIC, that is sick

Look, I can't vouch for what's happening to everyone on every insurance plan but the statement that the COVID-19 test costs "$1000 with insurance" as far as I know is false, and the kind of dangerous alarmism that harms more than it helps

Per your initial tweet, I do see the danger in telling people to donate blood to get a free test, but yet I will still argue that if that were the case, people aren’t selfish for doing what they can to protect themselves

I don't care about abstract arguments about "If X hypothetically were the case" and it's incredibly irresponsible to have those arguments about a real thing happening right now that people are up in arms about
