Maybe I'm just a big fat idiot but I lost most of my personal enthusiasm for the primary when Warren started spiraling downward and it pretty much killed my sense the country was actually moving leftward - if it were, then it actually would be a Bernie vs Warren election

What good is great progressive policy if you lack the competence and political support to implement it against the will of practically all of your peers? That has been my problem with Bernie the whole time. Look how Obama was stonewalled over the most modest of improvements.

warren spent all that time trying to draw centrists away from the right so they'd vote for sanders, but his stans are too arrogant and paranoid to notice help when it's being handed to them

She hasn't even endorsed, but apparently it's obvious that she wants people to vote for him... Before dropping out, she had cozied up to Klobuchar and accepted superPAC support. Making public statements about mean tweets instead of, say, Biden's bankruptcy bill. Shit priorities.

I was for Warren too, but if it helps, Biden's platform moves us to the left/makes progress on a lot of issues. Not as much/as fast as Warren, but it does.

And it's not true. I voted for Bernie in 2016.

Liz supporter here, Bernie primary voter in 2016. To the left of Bernie on almost every issue. If people wanna call me a closet centrist for any of that they can, of course, but they'd be dead wrong.
