subscription numbers dropping, huh? well, that’s okay. Real writing is hard to do. Just run some stupid sensationalism like everyone else. It’s okay. No one expected anything of you, anyway.
It occurred to me recently they're only known as the 'greatest generation' because they just started calling themselves that one day and I laughed and laughed
"We fought the Nazis" Asshole, you were jealous of Nazis
that's not the baby boomers, that's their parents
Ideologically indistinct.
The Greatest Generation survived the Great Depression, defeated the nazis, and had between a 70-90% top tax bracket until Reagan. Ideologically, they could not be more different. The Greatest Generation’s biggest failure is raising the worst generation.
See, you say "survived the Great Depression," I hear "existed." "defeated the Nazis," = "if the US couldn't execute the people in their internment camps, no one could." "70-90% tax bracket" = "grifters" "the worst generation" = "made the tech you use all day"pic.twitter.com/nspKSDuzxk
"The Greatest Generation’s biggest failure is raising the worst generation." And if your big capper argument is "the greatest generation was full of parents so bad they raised kids who torched the planet," well, now you're really making my point for me.
The really ironic thing here is that, while I'm not one to defend the WWII generation as actually being the saints people thought they were, the whole "Don't trust ANYONE over 30, they're all the same" thing was literally a Boomer-invented meme
