"Pro-Bernie" and "anti-Hillary" were, at least at the beginning, very clearly different sets of talking points that different sets of people cared about and it's the latter that absorbed the former over time

I guess it's also worth pointing out stuff like, you know, Chapo have a huge recurring rant about how The West Wing encapsulates everything they hate about the people they hate most on the planet while Bernie says it's one of its favorite shows

Sanders fans on Twitter are not the first people to do it, but I really hate the two-step of "you must bend the knee to us" when things are going well and "why are you cruel enough to pick on me, a humble podcaster?" when they aren't.

Also he just doesn't seem Online in the slightest, which is completely normal for someone his age, but it means he's relying on other people to interpret the dynamics of things like this for him and is going to have a hard time being more specific than "knock it off."
