I really hope that people in general, at least the people making decisions for the campaigns, have some kind of attitude of humility about this That electoral defeats are something you learn from and not just a sign that voters failed you

I mean yeah, go back and look on my TL, I've been hating on Joe Biden since before he announced he was running I won't say these results have changed my opinion of him as a person or a politician But I'd be stupid not to let it change my opinions about this election

besides the obvious scenario of voters liking her but not voting for her because they're afraid *other voters* won't support her, I think they like her more as part of a dream cabinet than as the chief executive of it

A lot of worrisome reasons to be sure! But I really respect this. The reality is the supporters of every candidate but one are gonna have to move forward, and I hope that it's a more productive process than twitter seems to be intent on making it.
