That's the nasty secret of this whole affair. As much as I think Sanders is a strong pick (despite my bitterness) and much as his camp *pushes* him as an unstoppable electoral juggernaut, they know he actually has a fairly potentially precarious position.

So he is somehow an Unstoppable Unifier Who Will Rally the People In a Grand Surge and Usher In Political Revolution, but they need to reconcile this PR pitch with his being electorally far from certain, & thus, some accuse things of being Rigged to prevent the Will of the People
