It takes a certain galaxy brain mindset to conclude that Elizabeth Warren is the biggest threat to Bernie Sanders becoming President, as opposed to Joe Biden, or for that matter Donald Trump

No, it's pretty simple. She's splitting the vote of the left wing of the party by staying in when she doesn't have a chance.

No, voters aren't sorted so neatly A bunch of Warren voters will go to Biden if/when she drops out, and a bunch more just wouldn't have voted if she weren't in the race

The same assumption was made about Buttigieg and Klobuchar voters, but polling from yesterday indicated that they overwhelmingly are falling in line for Biden.

So assuming this is true, what do you think this means, that voters will automatically fall in line to the ideological lane you think they belong to, that they respond when their candidate gives an endorsement, or that Biden is seen by voters generally as the safe choice

Mostly the first two. Warren should endorse Sanders if she cares about universal healthcare or combatting climate change.

I consider the first one to be the least likely and the only one that makes the case for her dropping out now

If Sanders dropped out, I would have voted for Warren nearly totally because of the first one. Perhaps voters aren't as ideological as I am overall, which is a concerning indictment of the way the media portrays electoral races and the rise of identity politics.

Eh. People say "vote the platform, not the person" but we can't elect a platform. You can love what a person promises but not trust they'll be the one to bring it about.

This is especially obvious since they say this *at the same time* that they talk about lying politicians who never keep their promises

And it turns out that the same personality traits you think make Sanders trustworthy are the ones other people think make him incompetent and unlikely to succeed

I fact those things aren't mutually exclusive. I trust Sanders' sincerity, and that he'll stand up for his beliefs (which I share); and also, as a candidate for an executive role he's an obvious compilation of red flags.

Also, so far, Sanders + Warren combined are *still* losing by double digits to Biden in the Deep South. Spoiler, my ass. At this point the smart hope for progressives/leftists is to get Warren above 15% so that she and Sanders can double-team the Biden wing at the convention.
