That's a really interesting proposition to tease out from a game design perspective. What you're describing is clearly not intended play, nor is it supported by the narrative or worldbuilding. It is supported by the aesthetic lifts, but through a degree of signification.

I feel like it gets back a bit to the classic debate about WW2 games: should they let you play as the Nazis, and, if yes, what should that entail from an ethical perspective, on the part of the developer?
