And it's less of a problem if we hand the levers of power over to the 49% and 31% person respectively? If you want to shove everyone in the country into a mega-caucus that can only be left once there is a consensus, I would be confused but supportive.

That is decidedly not what we're doing now though. I mean, now you're effectively talking about an executive branch with proportional representation instead of a single president. That sounds cool but it's not what you're suggesting.
