Please, in all seriousness, the kid was likely pulled out of class, and all of this was handled in private. She wasn’t arrested. The father went *with* the officer to the school.

You may not be aware of this, but the father has also not been arrested. And while the shaming is public (by his choice), he's able to operate from a position of pure anonymity with regard to that shaming. A luxury the kid clearly didn't experience.
