The same is true of Christianity, like the Bible contains plenty of colorful stories and so does later Christian folklore but knowing about all of them doesn't mean you know what Christianity is or what being a Christian is like

Disney fucked that up for me. I *know* it's Heracles in the Greek context, but for some reason Disney decided that everyone else should be Greek - Hades, not Pluto, etc. - but Hercules is randomly Roman.
