Everyone wants to talk about the sun dying in 4.5 billion years. No one wants to talk about how the Milky Way’s gonna crash into a whole-ass other galaxy before then. In 4 billion years we collide with Andromeda! How is this the first I’m hearing of this?!

After all, as the universe continues to expand, there will come a time, so far in the future that we can't conceive of the number of years, when inhabitants of remaining planets will only be able to see their very own star. They will have no reason to believe anything else exists
