So does standing for long periods of time make your standing muscles stronger over time or just slowly siphon your HP

The only benefit I've found is that I sit ridiculously (usually cross-legged, often sitting on my feet/ankles), which then damages my knees and ankles. Standing up improves that. Otherwise? Nothing.

Oh my god I do this too. I spent half a year trying to figure out foot pain issues and they ended up boiling down to "stop sitting on your feet, weirdo"

Standing desks were incredibly good for my untreated ADHD.

We've got like 200 bed risers at work left over from when it turned out most people don't want to stand up all day.

Standing all day is nearly as bad as sitting all day, just in different ways. Changing positions a lot is best. Thankfully my office has adjustable desks so I rotate between sitting on my chair, standing, and sitting on a balance ball. Keeps me awake but doesn't hurt my feet.
