Class is whether you make most of your money by selling your labour or by renting property you own

What if you do neither?

Then you're selling your labor but have been fooled into thinking you're doing something else. Like, consultants and freelancers who "own their own business" are still selling their labor, just like a factory worker or an uber driver

No I mean what if you're not working. What if you're disabled and can't work?

I suppose one could argue that this would technically not be "working class," but I think the interests of non-wealthy disabled people align a hell of a lot more with the working class than the owning class. I'd be happy to say "proletariat" instead, if that's more inclusive

You pretty much have to be wealthy in the current society to live decently with certain conditions. Look at the quality of wheelchairs poor disabled people have to use. Should we reappropriate those from disabled people with inherited wealth For Equality?

No, we reappropriate the wealth from billionaires and use it to get everyone who needs one a decent wheelchair. And not for "equality," for MORALITY

I think you're raising the concern that socialism will get all eugenics-y with disabled people. I can only say that we're over here talking about Denmark-style social democracy, not the Khmer Rouge, and working together to help people is the ENTIRE point

Okay well let's be blunt here if you yourself who knows what "socialism" means keep saying "socialism" but then turn around and say to only realistically expect "Nordic-style social democracy" then somebody is being lied to

And, let's also be clear, "Nordic-style social democracy" is absolutely capitalism It's extremely capitalist, there are plenty of landlords, plenty of big banks and bankers, plenty of investors and bosses

Yes, I would support further regulating banking than Denmark does. What is the point you're actually trying to make here? "All DSA members want to execute disabled people", or "None of these so-called socialists are radical enough to execute disabled people"?
