@arthur_affect So since Dawkins brought up Eugenics, has sci-fi pretty much retired the validity of the idea? because it used to be prominent in places such as Khan Noonien Singh, Lazarus Long and the Atreides family.

Eugenics used to be accepted science and considered the modern, progressive view of how to organize society so of course it was big in science fiction HG Wells was a hardcore eugenicist
